Space Engineers: Warfare I DLC

Warfare I was a combat-focused DLC release for the voxel sandbox survival game Space Engineers. Players’ arsenals have grown to include a variety of firearms, from small handguns to powerful missile launchers. DLC includes a multiplayer battle arena scenario, where 3 teams vie for control of rare Uranium ingots to power their bases and escape the arena victorious.

My role on Warfare was to script the Uranium Heist battle arena scenario to enable multiplayer matches and scoring. My duties included:

•Utilizing the in-house Visual Scripting Tool to expand scenario logic
•Collaborating with level designers to create needed functionality
•Scripting systems for team assignment, item spawning, and scoring
•Exploring ways to highlight new features in scenario design
•Working with programming team to refine Visual Scripting Tool
•Assisting with playtesting sessions to iterate on scenario design
